Happy Friday, "Murder" lovers: "How To Get Away With Murder" has gotten a full season order from ABC.
The Shonda Rhimes-produced drama will now officially air 15-episodes. According to Deadline, the smaller order (a typical full season would be 22-episodes) comes from star Viola Davis' deal with the network, which intends to leave time for her to pursue feature projects. Such arrangements are common for film stars attached to small screen series.
Since its first episode, "Murder" has been a huge ratings success. It is the biggest 10 p.m. drama debut for Adults 18-49 in two years.
Listen closely, and you can hear the sounds of millions of Thursday night calendars being cleared.
